Homemade Alfredo Sauce
On tonight's menu during this blizzard: Rotisserie Chicken and Bacon Alfredo (homemade-better-than-rest aurant-alfredo!) on top of Veggie Penne Rigate, ya know...to be healthy. And paired with a nice Riesling.
In the sauce we used a whole stick of butter, a package of cream cheese, part 2% milk and part buttermilk, some Italian cheese blend, and garlic powder. The most time consuming part is sticking around to stir and stir to avoid scalding. But it's totally worth it!
